Daikin Ducted and Split System Air Conditioning Installation In Tarragindi
Precision Electrical & Air completed a two-system air conditioning installation at a residential property in Tarragindi, supplying and installing a Daikin ducted system upstairs and a Daikin high-wall split system in the downstairs living room.
Ducted Air Conditioning — Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW
Precision Electrical & Air supplied and installed the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted system. The indoor unit was installed in the ceiling space above the void, with the condenser mounted on the front balcony wall on rubber feet. Services between the indoor and outdoor units were enclosed in duct on exit from the ceiling space.
Two drainage systems were installed from the indoor unit and safety tray to the external gutter. Ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors and air plenums were installed throughout the ceiling space and connected to the indoor unit. A return air grille was installed in the upstairs hallway.
A dedicated electrical sub circuit was run from the switchboard to the outdoor unit, including an NHP isolation switch mounted adjacent to the condenser.
A MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed in the upstairs hallway and connected to the zone motors.
Split System Air Conditioning — Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW
The Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was installed in the downstairs living room. New ducting, interconnect cable and copper pair coil were installed between the indoor and outdoor unit locations, with the condenser mounted on rubber feet.
A dedicated electrical circuit was run from the switchboard to the condenser including an NHP isolation switch. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed below the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe. The system was commissioned on completion.
Outcome
The property now has zoned ducted cooling and heating across the upper level and a dedicated high-wall unit for the downstairs living area — both Daikin systems supplied and installed to manufacturer specifications with correct electrical circuits and drainage.
